Due to Tuesday night's wintry weather, all four Mountain Valley Athletic Conference basketball tournament semifinal games will now be played on Thursday, Feb. 21, at Wilkes Central High School.
The format will feature two sessions that will require a separate ticket for each session and all spectators will need to clear the gym at the end of the first session.
Doors for session one will open at 4 p.m. School does not dismiss until 3:25. Consequently, fans are encouraged to wait until 3:50 p.m. or later to arrive on our campus to avoid traffic and parking issues.
Tickets for session one will not be available after halftime of the boys game and the main gym will be closed until the conclusion of session one.
Session two will begin 30 minutes after the gym has been cleared. Fans arriving early for session two will be asked to wait in the auxiliary gym.
The games will be broadcast on video boards in the auxiliary gym and session 2 tickets will be available in the auxiliary gym.
Listed below is the revised schedule for the remainder of the tournament.
